Hello!
It is Friday, January 4th, 2013, and I am a little less than two hours away from leaving for the Philadelphia Airport and boarding my flight to London to begin my semester abroad at the School of Oriental and African Studies. The last time I had a blog was during my month in Kuwait last summer, and I found that it was a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, so I decided to start another one for my newest adventure! I'm feeling a whole mix of emotions, of course: excitement and nervousness the most prominent. Although five months seems like an incredibly long time to be away from home, I know that my semester abroad will fly by, and I plan on enjoying every moment of it. I've never been to London, but I've heard extraordinary things, and I can't wait!
